Senior physiotherapist brings more than 16 years of experience in spinal pain, complex musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation to the Grange clinic.

GRANGE, QLD, AUSTRALIA, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA, September 2026 - Wilston Physiotherapy & Massage, a physiotherapy clinic in Grange, Brisbane, has appointed Senior Physiotherapist Jason Clarke, who brings more than 16 years of experience across private practice, elite sport and dedicated spinal rehabilitation.

Clarke has more than 16 years of physiotherapy experience across private practice and elite sport, with particular clinical interests in spinal pain, disc-related conditions, nerve-related symptoms, persistent pain and complex musculoskeletal presentations.

He holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and a Master of Physiotherapy and is currently completing a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, with a focus on complex low back pain and musculoskeletal conditions.

His appointment expands the clinical experience available to people seeking physiotherapy in Grange, Wilston and surrounding North Brisbane suburbs including Newmarket, Alderley & Windsor.

Clarke began his career working in elite sport before developing a strong focus on musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

His clinical experience has included work with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions as well as time in a dedicated spinal recovery clinic in Sydney, where he further developed his rehabilitation approach to more complex spinal presentations.

His clinical interests include lower back treatments, neck pain, disc bulges and herniations, sciatica and other nerve-related symptoms, shoulder and hip conditions, tendon injuries, persistent pain, and pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation.

A significant part of his work involves people with persistent or more complex problems, including patients whose symptoms have not progressed as expected with previous treatment, people seeking a second opinion and those wanting to understand whether conservative rehabilitation may be appropriate before considering surgery.

Exercise and progressive strength rehabilitation also form an important part of Clarke’s approach, supported by his background in both Exercise and Sports Science and Physiotherapy.

Alongside clinical practice, Clarke has established a graduate physiotherapy development program, mentored early-career physiotherapists and provided education to General Practitioners on topics including lumbar disc pathology, sciatica and rotator cuff-related shoulder pain.

“Jason brings a depth of clinical experience that fits very well with the way we want physiotherapy delivered at Wilston Physiotherapy & Massage,” said Calum Fraser, Director and Senior Physiotherapist.

“His experience with complex spinal presentations, rehabilitation and clinical education adds another valuable perspective to our physiotherapy team and strengthens the level of clinical experience available locally.”

Wilston Physiotherapy & Massage has provided physiotherapy and allied health services to the local community for more than 35 years.

Originally operating in Wilston, the practice later moved to its current location at 1/209 Days Road, Grange, where the clinic has additional treatment rooms and space for exercise-based rehabilitation.

The clinic provides physiotherapy, remedial massage and acupuncture and continues to serve people from Wilston, Grange, Newmarket, Alderley, Windsor and surrounding North Brisbane communities.

Clarke joins an established team of experienced physiotherapists including APA Tiled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist Katherine Schindler and Calum Fraser, treating a broad range of musculoskeletal, sporting and persistent pain presentations.

The clinic places an emphasis on thorough assessment, clear explanation, appropriate treatment and structured rehabilitation based on each patient’s presentation and goals.
