ERIE, PA, UNITED STATES, November 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett, P.C. (Knox Law) announced today that it has been recognized in the 2027 edition of Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” and in the Chambers Spotlight 2027 Pennsylvania Guide, two respected measures of legal excellence.

In Best Law Firms, Knox Law earned 17 rankings across 16 practice areas: one national ranking and 16 regional rankings in the Pittsburgh area. Nine of the regional rankings are Tier 1, including Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law – Management, Health Care Law, Land Use and Zoning Law, Litigation – Health Care, Litigation – Labor and Employment, Public Finance Law, and Real Estate Law.

The firm also earned seven Tier 2 regional rankings in Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law, Government Relations Practice, Insurance Law, Labor Law – Management, Litigation – Bankruptcy, Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants, and Trusts and Estates. Nationally, Knox Law was ranked Tier 2 in Land Use and Zoning Law.

“Our clients’ needs rarely fit into a singular practice area, so it matters to us that the firm is recognized across such a wide range, from litigation and real estate to health care and public finance,” said Neal Devlin, Shareholder and President at Knox Law. “That breadth is what lets us solve problems for our clients that cross disciplines, giving them the best legal representation possible.”

Firms are eligible for Best Law Firms recognition only when at least one of their lawyers is included in the corresponding edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Rankings are compiled through client and peer evaluations, firm-submitted data, and leadership interviews, not self-nomination or paid placement.

Knox Law was also recognized in the Chambers Spotlight 2027 Pennsylvania Guide, which highlights leading small and mid-sized firms across the state. Chambers ranked the firm in two practice areas, Mergers & Acquisitions and Trusts & Estates.

Chambers describes the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions team as widely respected for a growing practice with experience across a variety of deal structures, including asset and stock sales.

“Our approach is to bring the same care to every deal, whatever its structure or size. It’s gratifying to see our efforts recognized, and we’re thankful to the clients who trust us with these transactions,” said Bill Helbling, Shareholder at Knox Law.

In Trusts & Estates, Chambers recognized the firm’s sophisticated estate planning practice, which serves clients across Western Pennsylvania and beyond on multi-generational estate and tax planning, trust formation, and business succession planning, with additional capabilities in estate administration.

“Estate and succession planning is deeply personal work. This recognition reflects our team’s commitment to helping families and business owners protect what they’ve built and pass it on thoughtfully,” said Tom Hoffman, Shareholder at Knox Law.
